The Thrane & Thrane BGAN Explorer 527 is a roof-mounted antenna which tracks the Inmarsat satellites whilst you remain on the move. The transceiver is positioned separately inside the vehicle. It is ideal for emergency responders, news gatherers and mobile workers using bandwidth-hungry applications, such as live video, or multi-users that need to set up a temporary mobile office with high-speed broadband connectivity for standard data applications while on the move.

The BGAN Explorer 527 utilises the Inmarsat satellite network.
