IT Systems Engineer

Recent developments have created exciting new opportunities within AST and we are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable IT engineer with substantial previous experience. You will be required to:-

-   support our existing IT infrastructure (60 PC's & 17 servers)
-   be involved with IT & ITC projects with clients including design & implementation, generally using satellite communications
-   support IT developments

The role requires skills & knowledge in Microsoft Office products, Windows 2000/XP, Windows Server 2000/2003 & anti-virus solutions, with comprehensive understanding of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN and VPN technologies.

Satellite systems familiarity will be provided.

Salary will be based on qualifications and experience. AST offer a company pension scheme and BUPA after a qualification period.
