Marine Business Development Managers

Due to continued expansion and growth, we are looking to recruit two Marine Business Development Managers to be responsible for the sales of commercial and leisure satellite broadband communications systems including Fleet, Fleet BroadBand, VSAT, and Iridium Open Port. 

With many new products due onto the market this year our ideal candidates will be able to source commercial marine business from craft designers, boat builders, commercial shipping fleets and end users promoting AST’s product range and growing sales through new accounts. The successful candidates will be motivated self-starters, with credibility to liaise at all levels of the marine industry managing their own diaries and developing and implementing appropriate contact strategies for their customers.

Candidates should have a sound technical background ideally in marine communications systems, with a strong emphasis on IT integration. Sales experience is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

These positions may be home based, but within reasonable traveling distance of East Anglia as regular visits to our UK Head Office will be required.
